1: What does the Print Management system do?
The Library has always charged for printing, but collection has been on an honor system. The print management system will ensure that everyone pays equally for printing and has fair and equal access to a limited resource.

2: How do I use the Print Management system?
When using computers for the Internet or library databases, you must log on using your library card and PIN number. If you do not have a library card, please go to the Circulation Desk and apply for a library card.

3: What is my PIN number?
Your PIN number is the last 4 digits of your phone number in your library record.

4: Why does the Library charge for printing?
Printing electronic information is very costly. The Library is only able to offer this service by recovering the costs of paper, print cartridges, and printer maintenance.

5: Will I be charged for all printing?
Printing from the Library's catalog and your patron record is free. You will be charged for all other printing.

6: How much does printing cost?
Printing from the Internet or from library databases will cost $.10 a page. Printing from the library's catalog and your patron record is free.

7: How do I pay for printing?
You need to add money to your account at the payment station. When you print, the print software will deduct the cost of your print job from your account.

8: How do I print my print jobs?
Instructions are posted at each computer. In addition, staff can help you. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance.

9: What if I can't print my documents right now?
Documents will remain in the print queue for up to two hours.

10: How can I get research results without paying to print them?
From the Internet and most databases, you can email data to your home or office. You can also save your data to a disk, CD, or USB device.
