Friends of the Brentwood Library

The Friends of the Brentwood Library is an organization dedicated to improving library services in Brentwood. Through membership donations and Book Sale earnings, the Friends provide the library with books, DVDs, magazines, and compact discs. We also provide children's and cultural programs for the community.

Book Sales

Special Book Sales

Visit our ongoing book sale inside the library during library open hours. For an even bigger selection of gently-used and vintage books, come to the Friends` monthly book sale on the first Saturday of the month from 10:00-2:00.

The Friends of the Brentwood Library gratefully accepts donations of gently used, resalable hardcover and paperback books, textbooks, audiobooks on CD, DVDs and VHS tapes. Effective March 1, 2016, the Friends are limiting donations to one box or bag at a time until further notice. Donations are accepted anytime the library is open. A receipt is available at the front desk.

We do not accept magazines, encyclopedia sets, books in poor condition or that have water damage, or Reader's Digest Condensed Books.

For additional information, see the library's general information on donations.
