The Friends of the Pittsburg Library is an organization dedicated to improving library services in Pittsburg. Through membership donations and Book Sale earnings, the Friends provide the library with books, tapes, magazines, and compact discs. We also provide children's and cultural programs for the community.

There is an ongoing book sale in the Pittsburg Library lobby.
Donations to the Friends of the Library Book Sales
The Pittsburg Friends will accept books, books on tape, and videos. No textbooks or magazines, please. Donations should be brought in. Please don't leave materials in lobby, put them through the bookdrop or leave them outside of library. Please tell a staff member about donations.
