The Pleasant Hill library has a collection of more than 100 maps of Contra Costa County dating from 1870 to the present. These historic maps are not included in the Library Catalog. Ask at the Information Desk for a shelf list of the library's holdings. Individual maps may be viewed in the Baldwin Room upon request at the Information Desk.
The Pleasant Hill Library also has a historical collection of Thomas Bros. maps and street directories for Contra Costa dating from the 1950s to the present, and assorted street directories for other Bay Area counties. These items can be found in the Library Catalog.
