Riverview Middle School Library & Research Center

The Bay Point Library has had a dynamic history from its beginnings in a hospital room of the Bay Point Lumber Company in 1914. In 1994, after residents in the community expressed a desire for a library, Contra Costa County Library and MDUSD joined forces to provide library services to the residents of Bay Point at its current location in the Riverview Middle School. Since then, we are striving to meet the needs of the community by partnering with various organizations to provide programs and with an expanding adult, young adult, juvenile and Spanish materials collection, public computers with Internet access and a Homework Help Center.
