more details
Time travel to a library of the past with all the conveniences of today. The Crockett library is nestled in the picturesque town of Crockett on the southern side of the Carquinez Strait. The historic building built in 1914, is a quaint, cozy, brown-shingled structure with a view of the Carquinez Bridge, trains, and the C&H Sugar factory. The library houses all collections: Adult, Young Adult, and Childrens in all formats. Ongoing programs include preschool story time for 3 - 5 year olds and a monthly book club which meets one Saturday a month. The Crockett library also has an active Friends of the Library group who fundraise and present many programs of interest throughout the year.
