Walnut Creek Library, Group Study/Meeting Rooms

Group Study Rooms Use

There are four Group Study Rooms (Redwood, Black Oak, Blue Oak, and Live Oak).

Purpose:

The four Study Rooms are primarily for use of small groups and individuals on a first-come, first-served basis. Groups of up to 6 or individuals may book the Study Rooms in person on the day of the requested time; no advanced reservations will be taken. Rooms are booked in two-hour intervals. If no one has requested the room after the initial two-hour time block has ended, the group may request an additional two hours. Patrons can sign up for an available time slot at the 2nd floor information desk. Only the individual who signs up for the room can check in to claim the room and must also assume responsibility for the room. The library will only allow access to the study room when the patron leaves either a valid library card or picture ID at the 2nd Floor Information Desk.
