Tickets are available for purchase Monday through Friday from 10 to 5 starting Monday, February 4.

Dave Simpson
The local owner of the Lafayette Book Store will MC the 2008 Bookies and announce this year's Book Club Book of the Year.
Silent Auction
Items for bidding will include:
- An evening with Ron Shoop of Random House
- 2 tickets to the Contra Costa Times Book Club Gala with backstage passes
- One-of-a-kind custom gingerbread house
- Lodging for a weekend at a 3-bedroom condo with an ocean view in Aptos
Book Clubs
To vote for our annual award for the 'Book Club Book of the Year' fill out a ballot and return it to the Lafayette Book Store by March 1st.
Book Club lists will be on display at the Bookies. To ensure that your club’s list is included, send the title and author for each book you read and the name of your group by March 1st to Darra Williamson.
