The Library’s eBook and eAudiobook platform OverDrive is offering unlimited copies of the book Reverie by Ryan La Sala during its November Big Library Read. Check out the book on OverDrive or Libby from November 2 – November 16, and register for the author talk on November 10.

From the publisher: “Reverie is an intricate and compelling LGBT young adult book about the secret worlds we hide within ourselves and what happens when they become real.” While recovering from an attack that leaves him without his memory, gay teenager Kane Montgomery stumbles into a world where dreams known as reveries take on a life of their own, and it is up to Kane and a few unlikely allies to stop them before they spillover into the waking world.

This is Ryan la Sala’s first book. He grew up in Connecticut with his three siblings and three parents. He studied Anthropology and Neuroscience at Northeastern University in Boston. According to his website he then “grew out of his sciency phase, got serious, and started writing books about drag queen sorceresses and costume contests." His next book, Bedazzled, is due out in January, 2021.
