Latinx and Hispanic Heritage Month

Latinx and Hispanic Heritage Month

Latinx and Hispanic Heritage month 2021 honors the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latinx Americans and the celebration of heritage rooted in all Latin American countries, encompassing the Caribbean world and Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Held from September 15 to October 15, the Library will be offering programs, crafts, book lists, and displays to celebrate this diverse group.

Some of our virtual events will be an online art exhibit from SOMArts group CARAVANA, and online panel discussion of Lowrider and Car Culture.
