Are the libraries open?
No, all 26 branches are closed as well as Library Administration. We are offering contact-less Front Door Service; see https://ccclib.org/front-door-service/ for information.
My books are overdue, should I return them?
Yes, book drops are open at all locations except Pinole and Ygnacio Valley libraries. The Library eliminated overdue fines in 2019.
I haven’t used my library card in a while. Can I still access online materials?
Any patrons with cards that have expired or are scheduled to expire this year have been extended to allow access to all available digital resources
Can I get a library card online?
Yes, you can sign up for an eCard anytime and get access to many online resources. Visit http://ccclib.org/get-a-library-card/ to sign up.
What services are available online?
The Library has many digital services that can be accessed from home or a mobile device including, eBooks, eAudiobooks, East Bay Times, New York Times, Rosetta Stone and much more. Please see the full list here: http://ccclib.org/resource/
My kids are out of school, what learning resources are available for families?

Can I donate books to the Library?
Not at this time. It is important to protect the health and safety of staff and the public by reducing the need to touch donated items. Please hold on to your donations until the libraries reopen.
