Time travel to a library of the past with all the conveniences of today. The Crockett Library is nestled in the picturesque town of Crockett on the southern side of the Carquinez Strait. The historic building, built in 1914, is a quaint, cozy, brown-shingled structure with a view of the Carquinez Bridge, trains, and the C&H Sugar factory. The library houses collections for adults, teens and children in all formats. Ongoing programs include a weekly storytime for all ages every Wednesday and a writing group which meets every 2nd and 4th Monday. The Crockett Library also has an active Friends of the Library group that fundraise and present many programs of interest throughout the year.
