Paper submission forms are available at your local library! Return your submission form to your library or submit your design below.

Open to All Ages.

Create a design (8.5 inches x 2.75 inches at 300 ppi) based on the following theme:

  • Draw your superpower.

    BOOKMARK ART CONTEST - Submission Rules and Guidelines:
    After you complete your bookmark, scan or take a photo, read through the contest rules below and submit your work to any Contra Costa County library or use the online submission form above.
    1. You or parent/guardian are a Contra Costa County Library patron.
    2. Use the template provided (8.5 inches x 2.75 inches), stay within the printable area. Be aware some parts of your image close to the edge may be cut off during printing.
    3. One entry per person.
    4. Entries will be judged for creativity, originality, neatness and printability.
    5. Entries accepted Monday, February 16, 2026 through Monday, March 16, 2026.
    6. Chosen designs will have bookmark designs printed, any additional prize(s) to be determined.
    7. Finalists will be notified on or around May 1, 2026.
    8. Do not include any writing, text, trademark, or copyrighted marks in your artwork.
    9. If your submission is chosen, you or your parent/guardian will need to fill out and sign a waiver.
