The City of Pinole is located in the western portion of Contra Costa County on the shores of the San Pablo Bay. The current population is nearly 20,000. The rolling hills and temperate climate make it an ideal place to live. Pinole's diversity also contributes to its appeal. The Pinole Library offers a collection in various formats, public computers, free Wi-Fi, a meeting room, and many on-going programs for adults, teens and children.
