The Rodeo Library building was originally a schoolhouse built around 1911. Original wood flooring, old wooden bookcases, antique lighting and an interior door with a lock designed for a skeleton key are part of its charm. It is now the smallest library building of all the Contra Costa County libraries, but continues to serve a diverse population of approximately 10,000 residents with a collection for children, teens, and adults. Internet access on two terminals is available.
