Bookmark Art Contest

Open to All Ages

Create a design (8.5 inches x 2.75 inches at 300 ppi) based on the following theme:

  • Draw yourself as a supervillain.

Entries accepted January 31 through February 28, 2025.

    BOOKMARK ART CONTEST - Submission Rules and Guidelines:
    After you complete your bookmark, scan or take a photo, read through the contest rules below and submit your work to any Contra Costa County library or go to www.ccclib.org/free-comics and click on the “Bookmark Art Contest” submission form.
    1. You or parent/guardian are a Contra Costa County Library patron
    2. Use the template provided (8.5 inches x 2.75 inches), stay within the printable area. Be aware some parts of your image close to the edge may be cut off during printing.
    3. One entry per person.
    4. Entries will be judged for creativity, originality, neatness and printability.
    5. Entries accepted Friday, January 31, 2025 through Friday, February 28, 2025.
    6. Chosen designs will have bookmark designs printed, any additional prize(s) to be determined.
    7. Finalists will be notified on or around May 1, 2025.
    8. Do not include any writing, text, trademark, or copyrighted marks in your artwork.
    9. If your submission is chosen, you or your parent/guardian will need to fill out and sign a waiver.
