Dear Valued Library Patron,
The brightest spot in my schedule last week was when I visited the Concord Library to see the brand-new children’s area. It is splendid! It recently underwent a remodel that includes new paint, carpet, furniture and shelving. The space is now transformed into a bright, colorful and inviting destination. If you have a chance to drop in, I know the staff there would be delighted to have you. We are grateful for the continued partnership with the City of Concord and their support in improving the library.
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to include a link to a booklist in each of these newsletters. The inaugural booklist features recommended titles related to Black History Month that I’ve read, am thinking about reading or have started reading but haven’t finished (yet).

El punto más brillante en mi agenda la semana pasada fue cuando visité la Biblioteca de Concord para ver el área para niños completamente nueva. ¡Es espléndida! Recientemente pasó por una remodelación que incluye pintura nueva, alfombras, muebles y estanterías. El espacio ahora se transformo en un destino brillante, colorido y acogedor. Si tiene la oportunidad de visitarnos, sé que el personal estará encantado de recibirlo. Estamos agradecidos por la colaboración continua de la Ciudad de Concord y su apoyo para mejorar la biblioteca.
Una de mis resoluciones de Año Nuevo es de incluir un enlace con una lista de libros en cada uno de estos boletines. La lista de libros inaugural presenta títulos recomendados relacionados con el Mes de la Historia Negra que he leído, estoy pensando en leer o he comenzado a leer pero no he terminado (todavía).
