About San Pablo Library

The San Pablo Library is located near the City of San Pablo City Hall at the corner of Church Street and San Pablo Avenue. The facility, which opened in August 2017, has a large children’s area, a Teen Zone, a laptop lending station, and a cafe space which is open 7 days a week. The 22,000 square-foot building was designed by Group 4 Architecture Research + Planning. The Wildcat Community Room, facing Church Street, is reserved by calling the City of San Pablo Recreation Department at 510-215-3080. The San Pablo Library features two group study rooms which may be reserved for one hour on a first-come, first-served basis, in person only at the library's front desk.

Gently used books and an assortment of other items are available for sale in the Friends of the Library bookstore near the front doors of the library. Donations are accepted during open hours. The Friends of the San Pablo Library are looking for new members; please call the library at 510-374-3998 if you are interested in becoming a member.
