Kanopy recently made the switch from using a play credit system to offering a set number of tickets each month to watch films. Contra Costa County Library patrons now have an allotment of 24 tickets per person each month to stream films on Kanopy.
Next to the play button for each film, you will see the number of tickets required and how long you have access to that title. Each movie, documentary, or series is worth a varying number of tickets.
Fans of any series available on Kanopy—The Great Courses included—will love this change as you will have access to an entire season (or course) for a longer loan period.
Some titles, like those included in Kanopy Kids, do not require tickets—enjoy unlimited plays of Kanopy Kids and credit-free titles.
Tickets will reset each month and unused tickets do not roll over to the following month.
