For more than half a century, following the historic Stonewall uprising in 1969, communities have celebrated LGBTQ+ Pride to increase visibility and improve legal protections for LGBTQ+ people. The 3rd Annual Clayton Pride Parade, Sunday, June 2nd, 10 am, Main Street, Clayton
Clayton marches with pride and stands with love! The 3rd Annual Clayton Pride Parade features a colorful parade, face painting, local vendors, arts & crafts, food from local restaurants, and more. Clayton Pride works to create a city where Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex and Asexual plus (LGBTQQIA+) people thrive as healthy and equal members of society. Clayton Pride advocates for respect, equity, and justice, and works to build a culturally rich community for members and allies. 
 
 
Richmond Rainbow Pride Parade and Celebration 2024, Sunday, June 2nd, 10 am (parade), 11 am - 3 pm (celebration) in Civic Center Plaza, Richmond
Richmond Rainbow Pride's annual event features a parade at 10 am followed by a celebration at the Richmond Civic Center from 11 am to 3 pm. This community event features a walking parade going east from Nicholl Park and up 26th Street to Civic Center. Richmond Rainbow Pride celebrates freedom, dignity, equal rights, strengthened community, diverse sexuality, and gender variance. The theme for 2024 is "A decade in unity and community!"
 
 
Pinole Pride and Juneteenth Celebration, Sunday, June 9th, 12 pm- 3 pm, Fernandez Park, Pinole
On Sunday, June 9th, the City of Pinole will host its second annual Pinole Pride and Juneteenth Celebration. Join us for a day of celebration, live music, performances, children’s activities, food trucks, local organizations & vendors, and more!

Walnut Creek, Pet Pride Parade, Saturday, June 15th, 9 am - 11 am (parade begins at 10 am), Heather Farm Dog Park, Walnut Creek
Dogs of all breeds (and their families!) will strut their stuff around Heather Farm Park with Pride as we celebrate unconditional love and our family pets. Stop by the photo booth for a Prideful Pet Portrait opportunity. Bandana giveaways will be available for a limited time.

San Francisco Pride is one of the largest LGBTQ+ celebrations in the world, with over 200 parade contingents and exhibitors, vendors, resource booths, exhibitors, and live entertainment on multiple community-run stages in different venues. The annual parade and two-day celebration bring together over a million people from around the world to celebrate the beauty and resilience of our community. Our 2024 theme is "Beacon of love!" At San Francisco Pride, we believe that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued for who they are. We are committed to creating a world where LGBTQ+ people can live, work, and thrive without fear of discrimination or violence. We are proud of our history and excited about the work we are doing to create a brighter future for all members of the LGBTQ+ community.
 
 
Oakland Pride Parade, Sunday, September 8th, 11 am (down Broadway from 14th to 21st Street), Oakland Pridefest, Sunday, September 8th, 12 pm - 6 pm, 20th Street & Broadway, Oakland
Oakland Pride, opens a new window and Pridefest Oakland, opens a new window return this year to celebrate and support the cultures and diversity of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer+ (LGBTQ+) community in Oakland and the surrounding Bay Area. Both of these organizations have cemented their sponsorship to provide unified support for each other, the LGBTQ+ community, and Oakland at large so that every marginalized voice can be heard. The annual Oakland Pride Parade and Oakland Pridefest are free to the public.
 
Martinez Pride, Saturday, September 21st, 11 am-3 pm, Waterfront Park, Martinez
The second annual Martinez Pride festival is a family-friendly celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and allies in Martinez, CA, and beyond!  With live entertainment, food trucks, vendors, community agency booths, activities, and a kids' area for everyone to enjoy, Martinez Pride can't wait to celebrate with you!
