With Great Comics Comes Great Crafts!

I have compiled a list of my favorite, low cost, DIY crafts inspired by Comic books.

This is an easy way to spice up your every day light switch covers with a little Modge Podge and a picture or comic page. This tutorial by Jones Design Co. shows how to make a fancy light switch cover with paper (she mentions other paper formats that can be used such as scrapbook paper or wrapping paper). Given the diversity of papers that can be used, this project can be done by anyone! CLICK HERE!

This next craft is one of my favorites because it is so simple and so effective! This tutorial by Ena Green shows how to take a light-colored shoe and follow the stitching lines with a fabric pen or a permanent marker to make your shoes look like they came right off the page. Check out this video tutorial!

This tutorial by DIY Labs shows you how to make your own Bat Signal with everyday household items! You can use any signal you like!
