  • General Questions

    Many of our library locations have a charging station, charging locker, or personal device chargers for the public to charge their device. Charging options vary by location.

    • Charging stations allow you to charge your phone at the unsecured station.
    • Lockers allow you to lock up your phone using a secure PIN while it's charging. 
    • Personal device chargers allow you to charge your device with your own cord within the library.

     Hand sanizer and wipes are available at all library locations for everyone to use. Restrooms are also available for hand washing.

  • Self-Service Sunday

    Self-Service Sundays is the new service that allows patrons to access the Concord Library without staff on site on Sundays.

    Self-Service Sundays hours are 12pm to 5pm on all Sundays except holiday weekends and closures.

    Self-Service Sundays service is currently provided at the following locations:

    Services offered:

    • Pick up holds
    • Browse library collections
    • Use self-checkout machines
    • Quiet reading or studying
    • Connect to Wi-Fi
    • Restrooms

    Services not offered:

    • Computers, printing, scanning, or photocopying
    • LINK+ pick up or returns
    • Community room
    • Friends of the Library Bookstore

    • Must be 13 years or older. Parental consent is required if under the age of 18
    • Contra Costa County Library card account in good standing
    • Watch the Self-Service Sundays orientation video
    • Read and sign the Self-Service Sundays user agreement

  • Locations

    You can find directions to our Library locations by going to our homepage. At the very top of the screen click on “Hours & Locations.” Search for a specific location or click "See all locations” to view them all. Once you select a location, click on “Get Directions” to go to Google Maps and get specific directions from the address of your choice.

  • Meeting Rooms

    You can reserve the meeting room at the Walnut Creek Library and the Brentwood Library online. You can also reserve the Group Study rooms at the Brentwood Library and the Clayton Library online. Please see https://ccclib.org/rooms/ for more information.
